Does wisdom require patience?

Throughout my life, I have come to a place where I had to make a decision. Naturally, I'm sure you have been in this place too. Often times, I have not been sure about the thing I should do or the words that I should say.  If I am to be completely honest with you, at moments where I am full of emotions, I don't want to wait or take my time.  I get rather antsy... I want to hurry up and make a decision or say something. I have come to realize that the wise are patent because they wait to hear wisdom speak.  When we move or act hastly, we are unable to hear wisdom clearly because we are acting out of our own wills and thoughts. Hear instruction and be wise, and do not disdain it. ~Proverbs 8:33 When we decide to turn from our own wills and thoughts, we turn from pride and arrogance.  We turn from evil and perverse things.  By turning from that which God hates, evil and perverse things, we turn to God.  By turning to God we turn to wisdom. There are times in life when we have to wait and it is HARD. There are two ways that waiting can be done. It can be don't with or without patience. Sometimes we have to encourage ourselves and that is what affirmations are for. Here are 10 affirmations of patience. Say these out loud. 1. I am as the seed in good soil.
