When We First Meet Him…

Genesis 1:1-5 1¬†In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.¬†2¬†The earth was without form, and void; and darkness¬†was¬†on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3¬†Then God said, ‚ÄúLet there be light‚ÄĚ; and there was light.¬†4¬†And God saw the light, that¬†it was¬†good; and God divided the light from the darkness.¬†5¬†God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day. First impressions...they are very important. ¬†How we are introduced to a someone will ever shape the very image that we have of them for a very long time. ¬†This is no different when it comes to God. ¬†Here we are introduced to Him as Creator. ¬†This is very important because it is the way in which He first chooses for us to see Him. ¬†In the Hebrew translation the word that is used here is Elohim. ¬†Let's take a closer look.
